WHO IS SHE?
JOLENTA GREENBERG is a New York-based comedian, podcaster, pop culture commentator, and self-proclaimed reality television historian.
As a performer, her stand-up and storytelling have been featured all over NYC. She's a Moth StorySLAM winner and from 2014-16 she held a comedic residency at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn.
Her thoughts on pop culture have been featured regularly on NPR and The BBC, and her comedic e-book Modern Harpies, a comparison of Real Housewives to Greek Gods is an Amazon best seller.
Jolenta created and co-hosted the popular podcast, By the Book. The show was half self-help book club, half reality show and featured Jolenta and her friend Kristen living strictly by the rules of self-help books for two weeks at a time to test whether or not the advice actually worked. By the Book was featured in many news outlets like Time Magazine, The Washington Post, The NY Times, Bustle, and the show’s success led to a companion book, How to Be Fine, published by Harper Collins.
Currently, Jolenta co-hosts the podcast, How to Be Fine - a revamped version of By the Book where she and Kristen do deep dives into all kinds of wellness advice. Her other podcasting work includes launching two original podcasts with Stitcher (now SirusXM), co-hosting the Audible Original: Romance Roadtest, story editing for Risk, and producing for Freakonomics.
